Small, quaint barbecue joint that smells delicious! You can tell that love for the art of barbecuing, compassion and warmth is here! On my way, my directions directed me wrong. I called and this southern charm answered and directed me to Hickory Hill. Down home goodness, food and that famous sweet tea, no gossip! Lol. You know it's gotta be good, if they are sold out and it's 3pm. Definitely recommend and will definitely go back. I got ribs, chicken, sausage, hot links and pulled pork. I should have gotten extra sauce. It was good!!!! The sweet tea had lemons in it and it tasted like the sun brewed it. A little heavy on the sugar but I added extra ice to mine too calm the sweetness down. I wanted some of fashioned barbecue and Hickory Hill delivered. Yeah, I'll be back!
If you want BBQ the way it used to be, Hickory Hill BBQ is worth the stop. No gimmicks—just honest, well-done food and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and try the Mr. Big’s Potato. It’s loaded, filling, and made to be shared. One of those dishes that reminds you why comfort food never goes out of style. This place is all about good food, good portions, and taking the time to enjoy a meal together. Definitely worth trying.
